As a company in the tank container industry, you know as well as us that an effort should be made to make it a more sustainable industry. As Pelican, we make an effort every day to make the dry and liquid bulk transport industry more sustainable by continuously improving and implementing more sustainable solutions in our manufacturing and operating processes.

Operational effort

We focus on improving various aspects of our operational approach to make it more environmentally friendly, such as bikes, electric company cars and scooters, and flying less frequent. Concerning our products and operating procedures, we work with electrified equipment that is monitored remotely, making it possible to engineer our equipment without unnecessary travel and minimize our carbon footprint. Also, our state-of-the-art machinery operates with a very high level of detail and therefore produces less waste than other used machinery in the industry. The ovens in Houston are placed in even more insulated area, to ensure they need less energy to stay warm. Moreover, we overhaul instead of recycle, which costs less energy. Pelican Worldwide complies with the ISO45001 and ISO14001 certifications for Safety and Efficiency and will continue to prioritize sustainability over the coming years.
